With the rising costs associated with gas and maintenance of regular gas-driven vehicles, it is becoming less and less affordable for people to own vehicles in this day and age. 4 – The cost associated with maintenance when you buy a hybrid car can also be higher, but the trade off is that hybrid cars often require less maintenance in general. The systems and the engine used by a hybrid car are a little more complex than what an average mechanic can handle, meaning that you may need to find a mechanic that specializes in hybrid car maintenance.
5 – Finally, you should know that when you buy a hybrid car you are going to need to use special tires that are only for use with hybrid cars. These tires tend to wear out a little more quickly than tires on conventional cars, meaning that you need to replace them every 25,000 miles or so.
